flydubai Expands Global Reach with New Direct Flights to Basel, Riga, and Tallinn

Low-cost carrier flydubai has commenced operations to Basel, the first UAE airline to so do. The airline is also to venture into the Baltic with direct services to Riga, Latvia starting October 11 and to Tallinn, Estonia the following day. These flights will be worked from Dubai International Airport (DXB), while the Basel administration service will work four timrana week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Emirates will code share on the Basel route and so the passengers will have more transfer flights through the Dubai aviation connection. Basel would be the cultural capital of Switzerland and is the cultural hub that lies in the vicinity of the French and German boarder offers a great concentration of galleries and museums.

Besides, flydubai has planned a new Iran route, with the Basle flier being followed by direct flights to Kish Island and Kerman in September the next year. The flight from Dubai to Kish Island a shopping mall and free repeal zone will be four times a week beginning September 7 while Kerman which has historical significance will have twice a week flights to October 9.

These new routes come out as a sign of flydubai’s continued penetration into the continent and other areas such as the Baltics and the Middle East thus meaning that those who wish to travel have more destinations to look forward to. Basel has flights that begin at above Dhs 1,115 for one-way and the bookings are open now. It is projected that as flydubai incorporates more routes, the flying passengers will be able to discover other parts of Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
