Dubai: Global YouTube star MrBeast has announced the winners of his ambitious humanitarian initiative, 1 Billion Acts of Kindness, at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, marking a major moment in the evolving creator economy.
Out of more than 177,000 submissions from around the world, ten creators were selected to join the initiative. The winners include Priya and Sid, The World Sucks, Walid Elmusrati, Ella Loren Y. Bulatao, Andy Studio, Ousamma Mahreez, Godfrey Wavonya, Majd Alzakout, among others. They represent a diverse mix of storytellers and community-focused creators chosen not for follower count alone, but for the sincerity, creativity, and real-world impact of their submissions.
The selected creators will now travel to Ghana alongside MrBeast to take part in building a village designed to support long-term community needs. The project will focus on education infrastructure, access to clean water, and essential facilities, with the entire journey documented and shared with MrBeast’s global audience of over one billion followers across platforms.
The initiative highlights a shift in how influence is measured, moving beyond entertainment and virality toward responsibility and social impact. Speaking during a panel session after the announcement, MrBeast emphasised the difference between niceness and kindness, noting that true kindness requires sustained effort, resources, and long-term commitment.
“A world where I help people is better than a world where I don’t,” he said, explaining why he continues to invest heavily in large-scale humanitarian projects.
Joining the winners in Ghana will be several established global creators, including Khalid Al Ameri, Noor Stars, Orkun Işıtmak, Ricardo Limon, and others, reinforcing the campaign’s message of cross-cultural collaboration.
The 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign positions Dubai as a global platform for purpose-driven digital initiatives, demonstrating how creators can turn storytelling into meaningful action with lasting impact beyond the screen.
