Mall of the Emirates to Get Dhs5 Billion Expansion with New Stores, Wellness Club, and Outdoor Dining

A $1.37 billion refurbishment of Mall of the Emirates in Dubai will introduce significant modernizations which will transform the shopping and lifestyle aspects for mall visitors. The growth plan of Majid Al Futtaim includes 100 new stores with innovative leisure areas and multiple wellness and cultural features.

Facing Dhs5 billion investments this plan will bring the SEVEN Wellness Club to the Kempinski Hotel as part of its development strategy. Customers can unwind from shopping demands at the premium health and spa center through massage treatments and wellness therapy sessions.

The mall will establish a new cultural center through its partnership with Dubai Performing Arts Academy in 2025. The new venue will have a 600-seat theatre space together with dedicated rehearsal spaces to support the development of artistic talent from the city.

A top attraction of the expansion features an indoor-outdoor dining destination that combines casual eateries alongside interactive experiences. The outdoor food and drinks courtyard within the mall represents its inaugural courtyard which will welcome Winter alfresco dining when it opens in early 2027.

The West End district benefits from RTA and Mall of Emirates partnerships to deliver barrier-free parking and better access routes and upgraded bridges.

Khalifa Bin Braik as CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Asset Management stated that the expansion represents more than just physical growth. A mall exists today to offer opportunities for people to connect with each other while they pursue wellness activities and experience cultural events and gain inspiration.

Mall of the Emirates commemorates its twentieth year of operation through this upgrade that positions it to become an innovative lifestyle center which supports Dubai’s international strategy and sustainability initiatives.
