Global Golf Stars Return to Dubai
Some of the biggest names in international golf are back on the iconic Majlis Course, with an elite line-up confirmed for this year’s championship. Fans can expect to see Masters winner Rory McIlroy, former world number one Dustin Johnson, Tyrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Reed, Nicolai Højgaard, and Ryan Fox all competing in Dubai this week.
With major titles and Ryder Cup appearances between them, the field sets the stage for a highly competitive four days of play.
Surprise WICKED Performance on Saturday
Spectators attending on Saturday are in for an unexpected treat. A special WICKED performance by Broadway Entertainment Group will take place at Tournament Town from 3:00pm to 3:30pm.
Following the performance, fans will have the chance to enjoy a meet-and-greet with Elphaba and Glinda, with children and families invited onstage for photos. The appearance offers a preview of the global musical phenomenon, featuring iconic songs such as Defying Gravity, Popular and For Good.
How to Get There
There is no public parking available onsite at Emirates Golf Club, and visitors are encouraged to use public transport.
The easiest way to reach the venue is via Dubai Metro, with Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station located directly outside the main entrance on the Red Line. The station connects easily to major areas including Mall of the Emirates, Business Bay, Dubai Mall, World Trade Centre and Airport Terminal 3.
Drivers can also park for free at Centrepoint, Etisalat or Jebel Ali Metro stations and continue by metro to Al Fardan Exchange.
Taxis will operate throughout the tournament from designated pick-up and drop-off points. Bus route 83 also stops at Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station.
