Gulf News Edufair 2024 Draws Record Attendance as Visitors Explore Higher Education

Concluded yesterday in Dubai for the Gulf News Edufair 2024 the exhibition embrace of more that 8,000 people in 3 days that was considered a record. The event has more than 30 universities and educational services by UAE and abroad beside over 15 panel discussions and fireside chats were conducted.

The exhibitors unambiguously mentioned the excellent numbers and the amazing possibility to influence admission seekers. David George, Publisher at Gulf News Commercial, praised the event’s sponsors and exhibitors, noting, “Each year, Edufair continues to grow, both in scale and significance, attracting an ever-growing number of universities and students eager to explore the vast landscape of higher education opportunities in the UAE and beyond. ”

For students who visited the fair, there was a variety of areas to choose for courses ranging from the bachelors to the doctoral level. The event was arranged for career counseling and for the purpose of spot admissions too, and this way, the event became a one-stop destination for students as well as parents.

This year’s Edufair was in sync with the announcement by the CBSE and ICSE/ISC Boards. It gave the students and parents in the island the ability to seek institutions in which their children will be admitted from September 2023. The exhibition stressed the significance of practical based know-how and life-long education, reminding students to adopt transferrable skills and love of life-long learning.

Leading officials and teachers around the country applauded the Gulf News for its shining outlets that showcase the different higher education institutions. Mr. Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi, former UAE Minister of Environment and Water, spoke about the UAE’s positive strategic position and attractive working atmosphere which are conducive to studying and conducting research. Mr. Eesa Mohammed Al Bastaki, University of Dubai President, and Mr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Former Zayed University Vice President, gave emphasis on the worth of the event to students and educational establishments.

Satish Kumar Sivan, The Consul General of India to Dubai, on strong and fruitful relations with the UAE and how embraced by indian prestigious universities, which is a gratify for citizens in Indian community and region at large.

As a consequence of positive feedbacks, it was decided to hold the superb edition of the Edufair in October. To this end, the event plays the role of a “remarkable forum” for students and educational establishment connections with the most reputable regional and global universities and partners.
