“Dubai is already home to many growing digital-first businesses looking for cross channel solutions for their customers,” Co-Founder & CTO of Braze, Jon Hyman, noted. “Fortunately, we have already established partnership with some of the most popular and reputable brands in the region. ”

Thomas Skoumal, Dyne Chairman. AI highlighted the growing, and predominantly young, digitally-savvy the population in the region and the encouraging approach from the UAE and KSA leadership to the AI solutions and products as some of the factors that may be driving the expansion of the firms.

There are significant recommendations to the role of AI in marketing noting that it is revolutionalizing marketing through idea generation, automation, and data analysis. Due to the advancements in AI, marketers have developed the usage of AI-predictive analytics for message-based campaigns.

“While some believe that the use of artificial intelligence degrades creativity in marketing, I think that it is only the opposite – AI technology, when used correctly, can inspire marketers’ creativity and increase the effectiveness of delivering more personalized experiences,” Hyman said. Currently, the company has been in discussion with leading regional brands in pursuing new partnership opportunities.

However, there is an issue stemming from a lack of data skills, putting into question the optimism of the landscape. As Hyman pointed out, the callers need to strengthen the data skills at universities as well as address the lack of these skills in the offices.
