President’s Award-Winning Emiratis Encourage Private Sector Employment

The Emirati professionals that were awarded by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan encouraged their compatriots to work in private companies so that they could advance more swiftly. The endowments for the Nafis Awards for the academic year of 2023-2024 were set up with the aim of encouraging top notch talent in the private sectors of the country and this year several Emiratis were rewarded for their achievements.

Dana Al Ansari, who won the highest Nafis Award specifically in the banking sector said she was happy to be awarded by the President. The minister urged Emirati graduates and aspirants to consider the alternatives for employment in the private sector, and use the help of the Nafis platforms. The award was a surprise and it was a privilege to receive an award from one of today’s global leaders saying that it motivates one to strive even more in future challenges, Al Ansari stated.

Nafis began in 2021 and its plan is to have Emiratis in Private Sector employers doing 10 percent of the skill demands by end of December, 2026. One of the recent achievements is that the Emiratis’ employment in the private sector exceed one hundred thousand for the first time.

The prospect of Arab talents in the Independent sectors was also supported by the UAE’s leadership as Sheikh Mohamed underscored during the awards ceremony. Al Ansari was to some extent concerned about the private sector jobs but was able to prove herself as a product manager at commercial bank international emphasizing the diversity at the workplace and training facilities.

Dr. Adil Sajwani a consultant in family medicine at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai was awarded due to his efforts in private health services provision. He then explained that in the private sector, it was essential to go further than the demands, and he presented his prior approach to the creation of strategies aimed at enhancing the services in such a health care facility. The leader’s advice to the Emirati job seekers was to persevere and stay focused, noting the function of the Nafis plan as a way of availing avenues through which the Emirates’ talents could demonstrate their worth.
