UAE and Saudi Professionals Eye Job Opportunities Despite Recruitment Challenges

UAE and Saudi Arabian professionals are getting prepared for the future job market and employment opportunities in 2025 in light of increasing challenges in the process. LinkedIn finding reveal that while 75 percent of UAE and Saudi professionals are willing to look for jobs this year, 51 percent feel job search has become difficult for them in the past one year.

Challenges are also being reported by HR professionals in the region with 46% complaining of increased difficulty in attracting talent to the relevant roles. This means that those seeking employment should try and work out new techniques that they can use to ensure that they get a job in the present day job market.

According to the research, the major pain points of the audience are; 57% said that the process is tiresome while 43% said that the process is frustrating. But there is hope, 58% of professionals think the job market will get better thanks to strong economic growth in both nations. excluding oil and gas induced revenues the UAE is expected to register an increment of 4-5%, Saudi Arabia expects this figure to be 4.9% due to diversification strategies.

These economic realities notwithstanding, searching for more job openings doesn’t always pay off. More respondents or 43.8% admit they have been applying to a larger number of jobs and getting a poor response, while 68.8% of the human resource professionals said a significantly less than half of the applicants fit the job description standard.

In this case, LinkedIn recommends that applicants should employ various techniques since most of them would not tag along public appreciations as a consequence of searching for a job through this medium, apart from employing the job match aspect which matches ones skills with those expected of the recruiters. Linked account might also be enhanced by AI to make the profiles more appealing to the recruiter and prove the ability to work in a team, strong communication, and even adaptability, creativity or problem-solving skills, which all help in passing the strengthen selection stage.

New, promising, vacancies are available in places such as artificial intelligence, security engineers, and travel services. As part of its ‘Jobs on the Rise’ report, LinkedIn gives candidates the information necessary to take action on the trending positions and find new opportunities with ease.
