UAE Eid Al Adha 2025: Expected Dates and Holiday Plans

The UAE population now anticipates the 2025 arrival of Eid Al Adha following their successful festivities during Eid Al Fitr due to its position as one of the highest religious holidays in Muslim tradition. The UAE government has already declared the official holiday dates which provide workers in both private and public sectors with four consecutive days of rest.

Expected Dates for Eid Al Adha 2025 in the UAE
People observe Arafat Day before Eid Al Adha during the ninth day of Dhul Hijja. According to calculations for 2025 the Islamic celebration of Arafat Day will occur on June 5th Thursday. The holiday period for Eid Al Adha extends from Friday June 6 up to Sunday June 8 in 2025.

Due to the UAE policy against shifting public holidays the upcoming four-day holiday will stretch from Thursday through Sunday to allow citizens explore various activities during this long weekend.

Significance of Eid Al Adha
People observe Eid Al Adha through performance of special prayers and eating festive meals while they perform charitable acts. Family members gather for special meals and contribute meat donations to the needy population while performing religious observances.

Official dates for this occasion will be announced soon because confirmation relies on the sighting of the moon. Those who have booked travel and staycations can already organize their plans by using the expected dates.
