Air service in the UAE has been badly affected after regional airspace were closed due to increased geopolitical tensions. It is suggested that passengers refer to their airlines prior to going to the airport since delays and cancelation hit large airport in UAE.
The interference follows rogue Iranian missile attacks on an American military base in Qatar that caused emergency airports closures in several Middle Eastern nations. To this end, the UAE has also put its emergency airport response plan to help it handle passenger security systems and reduce operational confusion.
With some flights being postponed and rerouted, Dubai Airports claimed that both DXB and DWC encounter the effects of the knock-on flows. Others are working but with a heavy schedule adjustment, delays and possible cancelling of a service at the last minute.
It has been recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that all the residents of the UAE, nationals and as well as tourists should avoid going to the airport without verifying flight status with their airline company. It is also advisable that passengers take extra time to go through the security and check-in processes as the situation is taking place at high tempo.
The travel-disrupting nature of this interruption is unprecedented and affects the convenience of the overall travel situation to most of its subjects, as re-routed air traffic subjects them to increased pressure on airport services and flight programs.
The airlines are cooperating closely with the airport authorities and the local air traffic control trying to make the situation as safe and effective as possible. We will update you more once we get some progress on the story.
To get the most precise and up actual information about traveling, call your air company or go to the official pages of DXB, DWC, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah airports.
