UAE Social Media Users Advised to Uphold National Values

The National Media Office through its public warning instructs all social media users within the United Arab Emirates to maintain national values during their digital interactions while prioritizing respect along with tolerance and domestic coexistence. According to the statement ethical and legal behavior becomes essential on social platforms and breaks of this rule lead to possible legal consequences.

Guidelines for Responsible Social Media Use
Users on social media platforms must avoid making content that disrespects or criticizes national symbols and public figures as well as friendly nations. Content showing false or hateful messages together with defamatory statements violates United Arab Emirates laws along with their associated penalties regardless of direct or indirect or implied delivery methods. The authorities both monitor and enforce legal penalties against those who break digital safekeeping laws to preserve a proper online atmosphere.

People living in the UAE should use established reporting systems to identify offensive content or non-compliant material. The NMO stated its dedication to sustain digital media authenticity while creating social media as a platform for productive dialogue.

Representing the UAE with Pride
Every UAE resident functions as a national ambassador according to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The president told citizens to state their Emirati identity through both their positive and negative actions on social media.

The UAE Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed important guidelines for social media use such as advancing knowledge and culture while using appropriate language through respectful discourse.

Through its direction the NMO demanded users to maintain online activities that reflect UAE leadership principles while safeguarding the country’s ethical traditions of wisdom coupled with cultural integrity.
