From Dubai to Riyadh: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Launch ‘Bad Boys’ Saga in the Middle East

Hollywood actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have brought their iconic ‘Bad Boys’ franchise to the Middle East, launching the global premiere of their fourth installment, ‘Bad Boys: ”Ride Or Die”, in this city known as Dubai. The show is still hilarious, filled with their trademark chemistry and adrenaline-fueled segments; The premiere held on the Tuesday at the Coca-Cola Arena. The new film that is planned to be released in UAE theaters on June 6 is the further story of the popular pair of policemen, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

A scene showing Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, during an interview at a sea-fronting hotel in Dubai said, “Bad Boys are in the Middle East, and it seems like the perfect place for our fifth film in the Bad Boys series. ”

The debut in Dubai is special because it is succeeded by the first Hollywood film premiere in Riyadh. Starring in Dubai and Riyadh for the Bad Boys global launch in the Middle East is huge for us, We are privileged and thrilled to be here. . . The kind reception is overwhelming,’ said Smith.

In ‘Bad Boys: Ride Or Die,’ Smith and Lawrence again return as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett and continue the formula of crime fighting with humour and cool one-liners. Directed by the Moroccan-Belgian duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, this movie remains loyal to the model that has always earned the films of this franchise high popularity after the very first release in 1995.

I specifically wanted to make sure that their friendship [Mike and Marcus] was captured. That’s really it. It’s exactly as the song ‘Ride Or Die’ – It’s about friendship, and partnership. Mula wasn’t sexist, in fact, Smith said that they just really wanted to make it a point to focus on that and enjoy it.

Lawrence sharing his experiences with Smith also said “Just to be partners with this man [Will Smith], just to see him grow for so many years, and is such a pleasure for me… I couldn’t have better partner . ”
