That includes 510,046 worshippers attending prayers throughout the holy month.
Another 205,642 visitors came to experience the mosque and its surroundings.
And 980,010 iftar guests joined daily meals hosted at the mosque.
The turnout stayed consistent throughout Ramadan and continued into Eid, with visitors arriving at all times of the day.

Iftar services remained one of the main highlights. Each evening, guests gathered to break their fast in a well-organized setting.
Dining areas were arranged to handle large groups, and the setup made it easy for people to join without long waits. The experience stayed smooth even during peak hours.
With extended visiting hours during Ramadan, people had the flexibility to come in earlier in the day or later in the evening.
UAE mosques welcomed over 3.2 million visitors
The wider picture shows just how active this season was. Mosques managed by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre recorded 3,226,103 visitors during Ramadan and Eid.
A large share of that total came from the Abu Dhabi mosque, which remained one of the most visited locations during the period.
The numbers highlight how Ramadan continues to bring strong participation across the UAE, with both residents and international visitors taking part.
