Abu Dhabi has unveiled Yas Bay East Beach, a brand-new waterfront destination on Yas Island that opened on 19 March 2026. Developed by Miral and operated alongside Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, the beach offers a clean, active coastal experience for residents and visitors looking for more than a standard sun-lounger afternoon.
A new beachfront experience on Yas Island
Stretching across 290 metres of waterfront, Yas Bay East Beach is designed as a modern, all-day destination. Open daily from 7am to sunset, it caters to early risers and evening visitors alike, with an emphasis on active lifestyles and community experiences rather than passive relaxation.
Fitness, sports and activities for everyone
Unlike traditional Abu Dhabi beaches, Yas Bay East Beach puts fitness and sport front and centre. Visitors can currently enjoy:
- Free sports areas for volleyball, badminton and table tennis - Snorkelling and water-based activities - A dedicated outdoor fitness zone
Group wellness sessions are set to launch in June 2026, including yoga, HIIT, breathwork, beach boot camps, and mobility classes — making it a genuine hub for Abu Dhabi's active community.
Easy access to dining and Yas Island attractions
The beach sits within Yas Bay Waterfront, home to over 20 restaurants and entertainment venues, including Etihad Arena. From there, it is just minutes away from some of Abu Dhabi's biggest theme parks — Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi — making it an easy add-on for a full day out on the island.
