Types of Tourist Visas
The C-3-9 tourist visa, also known as the ‘short term tourist visa’, comes in three types:
- Single entry: Valid for three months
- Double entry: Valid for six months
- Multiple entry: Valid for five years
Required Documents
- Visa Application Form: Available on the visa portal. Fill it out online and print a copy.
- Passport: Original passport valid for six months from the travel date, plus a copy.
- UAE Residence Visa: Copy valid for six months from the travel date. Virtual visa stamp holders need both soft and printed copies.
- Emirates ID: Original and a copy.
- Previous Visa Proof: Required for nationals of specific countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and more.
- Bank Statement: Original statement for the last three months with a bank stamp, issued within the last two weeks before applying. If a financial sponsor is involved, include a letter of financial support and sponsor’s passport copy.
- No Objection Letter: From the applicant’s sponsor, detailing the visit purpose, applicant’s full name, passport number, nationality, position, and salary.
- Schedule of Stay: Detailed itinerary including activities, dates, accommodations, and contact numbers.
- Two-way Ticket: Booked and provided.
- Hotel Booking Proof: Confirmed booking in South Korea.
Application Process
- Online Submission: Complete and submit the e-visa form.
- Appointment Booking: Schedule an appointment with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai via the 365 Overseas Korean Portal.
- In-Person Appointment: Attend the scheduled appointment at the consulate.
- Processing Time: The visa processing takes up to 14 business days. Check the visa status online.
- Visa Collection: Collect the approved visa from the Korean embassy.
Fees
- Single Entry Visa: AED 160
- Double Entry Visa: AED 280
- Multiple Entry Visa: AED 360
For visas over 90 days:
- Single Entry Visa: AED 240
- Double Entry Visa: AED 280
- Multiple Entry Visa: AED 360
