Organized by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), Masters Tournament and The R&A, the 16th Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship will be held at Dubai’s Emirates Golf Club from October 23 to October 26, 2025. It would be the second time the event was held in the Middle East having previously kicked off in the city of Dubai earlier this year.
Players in contention will include ten from each of the 43 participating Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation organizations, and the winner will earn exemptions for the 2026 Masters Tournament at Augusta National and The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale. The Dubai silhouette shall be held at the Emirates Golf Club annually hosting the Dubai Desert Classic and situated on the Majlis Course. Successful past competitors for the tournament are Hideki Matsuyama, Cameron Smith, and Keita Nakajima, who joined the tournament as professional players.
The Vice Chairman of the Emirates Golf Federation General Abdullah Al Hashmi showed enthusiasm while looking forward to hosting some of the best talents in the region and adding depth to an already storied history of golf in Dubai.
