Dubai is preparing for extravaganza that would take place during New Year’s Eve 2025, with multiple shows taking place across the city including Burj Khalifa, Global Village, and Dubai Design District. The ‘Events Security Committee’ together with 55 governmental and private entities have therefore provided a detailed event security plan that would guarantee safety, productivity and pleasure to all the guests.
Strategic Sector Division
Following last year experience, Dubai has been divided into four functional areas namely North, Central, West and Maritime as far as security and service delivery is concerned. Security in Dubai will be provided by 8,530 police offices, 1,145 motorized patrols, 33 marine rescue boats and six mobile operation rooms. Temporary medical centres will be erected along other facilities in the Downtown Dubai area for first aid, logistics and to help reunite lost children with their parents.
Worker-Friendly Initiatives
Large screens and meal services have been established for workers, thus the stakeholders can celebrate without moving to crowded places.
Traffic and Transport Plans
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have laid down strict measures for the public such as closing the roads around Burj Khalifa starting from 4PM, 260 shuttle buses that will be available, and 43 hours non stop for the Dubai Metro. More parking capacity will also be created with shuttle facilities to key areas.
Health and Safety Measures
Field Hospital of Dubai Health has been set up near Burj Khalifa and 1,800 employees have been sent to six hospitals and seven medical points. Medical help includes such options as transport emergency services, comprising of emergency fleet fleets such as ambulances or marine rescue boats, and telemedical services provided via a special call centre.
Efforts Put In by Municipal and Civil Defence
It will staff 2,776 employees and 246 vehicles to maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards in Dubai Municipality. The Dubai Civil Defence has trained 1097 fighters and 123 vehicles to quell emergencies in five major areas.
Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri appealed to the public to do their part and be observant so everyone can have a good and safe time. With these huge performances, Dubai is set for yet another spectacular New Years Eve event.
