UAE Petrol Prices for January 2025 Remain Unchanged

As for the current year the aloted petrol price for January 2025 will be same as December 2024 in the UAE. This stability has been arrived at against the backdrop of one of fuel costs volatility given that December offers the lowest prices of Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus 91 in 2024. January 2025 Fuel Prices

From January 1, the cost per litre for various fuel types will be as follows:

• Diesel: AED 2.68
• Super 98: AED 2.61
• Special 95: AED 2.50
• E-Plus 91: AED 2.43

These prices are close to December 2024 prices, seeking to remain as stable throughout the year as many prices have fluctuated.

A Year in Retrospect

The statistics prove that 2024 started with slightly elevated fuel costs, like E-Plus 91 for AED 2.64 and diesel, for AED 3 in January. The prices was relatively high in the beginning of the year and rose again on May where Super 98 was sold at AED 3.34 per litre of unleaded gasoline. By end of last year there was a marked decrease in this tariffs in an attempt to ease the burden for consumers.

In this regard, E-Plus 91 has lowered from the earlier 1.400 to 2.430 AED per litre, somewhat cheaper than it was at the beginning of the year 2024. Likewise, Special 95 from AED 2.71 became AED 2.50 per litre and Super 98 from AED 2.82 to AED 2.61 per litre.

Outlook for 2025

That this trend comes when fuel prices have started the year 2025 at their lowest level in over a year is positive. Experts believe that the steady rates can lead to more consumer consumptions and can provide stability to the Emirates’ economy, thus supplementing it benefits of becoming a more important international centre.
