A Celebration of Unity and Culture
At the launch event Her Excellency Mona Al Marri explained how the Year of Community initiative influenced the UAE’s Ramadan and Eid celebrations according to her role as Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office. #RamadanInDubai used more than 200 cultural events to foster social unity which turned Dubai into a central celebration destination for all residents.
Director of Brand Dubai Shaima Al Suwaidi expressed that the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr celebrations will double as a display of Emirati customs while drawing worldwide viewers.
