Tanweer Festival Returns to Sharjah’s Mleiha Desert This November

The Tanweer Festival in Sharjah will return on November 21-23, 2025, to the beautiful Mleiha Desert, connecting art, culture, music, and sustainability. This launch edition was a draw and we plan to connect with nature and each other even further through our profound and human experiences.

Founded by Her Highness, Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, daughter of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, Tanweer was designed with unity and spiritual growth in mind. This was not a celebration, but rather co-learning, contemplation, and transformation process.

Our theme this year is; “What You Seek Is Seeking You”, a quote from the world renowned 13th-Century Sufi poet, Rumi. His wisdom fits very well with the intention of the festival to spread inner peace and belonging to the community.

There are zones to the festival as follows.

Main Stage: A place for sensory overload, ancestral tunes, light shows, and projections in the desert.

The Dome: The zone for sharing knowledge, talks, workshops, and discussions.

The Tree of Life: A safe zone for meditation and connectedness.

Nourish: The food court; fresh organic, farm-to-table, including vegan, vegetarian, and Bedouin BBQs.

Marketplace: A curated ومتجر
