DIEZ Welcomes 700+ AI Companies, Strengthening Dubai’s Digital Future

The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) reports 700 AI-specialized businesses now operating throughout their economic zones within Dubai Airport Freezone and Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai CommerCity. DIEZ’s influence in UAE innovation and AI adoption has reached new heights according to announcements made during Dubai AI Week 2025.

The event took place under the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as Crown Prince of Dubai while Dubai AI Week was held at the Museum of the Future and Area 2071 between April 21 and April 25 during 2025. Under the direction of the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence Dubai showcased collective efforts towards establishing itself as an international AI innovation center.

Inside DIEZ both multinational and startup companies function alongside various other organizations developing different AI applications. The presence of these companies reinforces DIEZ’s alignment with both the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and the Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI which serve to accelerate digital transformation.

Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni at DIEZ presented the extended view of this advancement by noting “Artificial intelligence serves as Dubai’s foundational element for its economic transition.” Our organization aims to build an advanced business environment that drives innovation and_sound growth as our primary strategic approach.
