Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) together with Google, has confirmed the second edition of the ‘MENA Creatives Bootcamp – AI & Innovation Edition that is aimed at fostering creatives in the UAE and the MENA region. The programme will be based on developing creative projects supported by technological and artificial intelligence tools, increasing an online presence, and building an experiential learning environment.

The Applications are accepted until January 10, 2025.

Google Dubai will be the venue of the bootcamp all through with the last day for the Bootcamp at Al Quoz Creative Zone. This event provides Google’s AI specialists meeting, exclusive mentorship, and presentations on innovation, digital art, and artificial intelligence.

Advancing Creativity with AI

Shaima Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication at Dubai Culture, highlighted the initiative’s alignment with the UAE National Innovation Strategy, stating:

The goal of this bootcamp for Dubai Culture is to help creatives get exposure to specialists, resources, and information to discuss the use of more sophisticated AI methods for works. This accords with the Dubai vision of the emirate as a worldly capital of culture and enlightenment.”

A Successful Precedent

The first edition, Sustainability, saw the usual high turnout with creatives applying from 10 different countries; 21 of them were lucky enough to be paired with one of the 19 Google mentors and 41 in total. Reaching the higher goals of sustainability and environmentally friendly design strategies learned a lot about creative tendencies of the region.
