The Global Prompt Engineering Championship 2025 operates as the globe’s biggest generative AI competition which currently holds an open registration period. Under the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) through its Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) this competition will unite international AI experts for Art, Video, Gaming, and Coding categories with a total prize sum of AED 1 million.
A Global AI Battle in Dubai
During Dubai AI Week on April 22–23, 2025, the championship receives patronage from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as Crown Prince of Dubai. The event drives innovation in AI technologies while making Dubai an international AI center while creating opportunities for top artificial intelligence experts to collaborate.
How the Competition Works
Registration closes on March 22, 2025.
The 24 selected finalists who represent six categories will participate in live competition at AREA 2071 within Emirates Towers.
During the first day the competitors will participate in challenges separated by categories followed by a selection of finalists from every category to advance into the finale.
The winner of the best AI prompt engineering at the event receives a portion of the AED 1 million prize on day two.
AI specialists from a judging panel will assess competitors through evaluations of their time performance along with accuracy levels and AI content quality outcomes.
A Growing AI Movement
Last year’s competition drew thousands of entries from nearly 100 countries, with participants from Lebanon, Egypt, India, Singapore, France, the UK, and the UAE. The coming year will bring additional participation which establishes Dubai as a premier global center for AI research.
