In 2026 Dubai plans to elevate its position as the prime discussion space for global AI matters through its 2026 gathering known as ‘AI@70: Towards a Global Humanity’. History will celebrate the 70th anniversary of Artificial Intelligence since its launch through the 1956 Dartmouth Workshop that established AI as an academic discipline.
The gathering will occur throughout Dubai AI Week 2026 according to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation. The launchpad for the ‘Humanity Lab’ incubator program will begin at the Dubai AI Campus inside DIFC through the event. THE initiative means to develop next-generation AI innovations which reflect the progressive values of human society.
