In 2026 Dubai plans to elevate its position as the prime discussion space for global AI matters through its 2026 gathering known as ‘AI@70: Towards a Global Humanity’. History will celebrate the 70th anniversary of Artificial Intelligence since its launch through the 1956 Dartmouth Workshop that established AI as an academic discipline.

The gathering will occur throughout Dubai AI Week 2026 according to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation. The gathering will receive official backing from Dartmouth College which organized the AI convention at its historic 1956 event known as the “Constitutional Convention of AI.”

Sheikh Hamdan announced that this gathering would locate Dubai as the main hub for worldwide AI discussions. The present era belongs to AI as its transformative strength powers through every aspect of life. The world is undergoing a revolutionary change of how we understand humanity while work and societyuchsia is transforming. Through the effort of AI@70 we are building the essential framework that will lead AI into a future which promotes worldwide collaboration as well as social inclusivity and human progress.

The launchpad for the ‘Humanity Lab’ incubator program will begin at the Dubai AI Campus inside DIFC through the event. THE initiative means to develop next-generation AI innovations which reflect the progressive values of human society.

AI@70 will study existing and innovative viewpoints for scientific, ethical and sociological trends with the purpose of linking deep philosophical understanding to technological advancement. The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) collaborate with global advisory firm APCO to organize an event that will show entrepreneurs and artists new ways to redefine the boundaries of AI advancement.
