Hamdan bin Mohammed: AI Will Shape Dubai’s Future Vision

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum identifies Artificial Intelligence as the central element for Dubai’s upcoming progress milestones. The Crown Prince of Dubai declared before Dubai AI Week launched that AI has evolved from a simple tool to become the essential infrastructure for intelligent municipalities and adaptive public services and progressive government systems.

Dubai AI Week formalizes its start on April 21 to unite international experts with innovators as well as policymakers from across the world. On the first day of Dubai AI Week expert leaders from across 150 nations and worldwide AI specialists will meet inside the Museum of the Future for extensive discussions about data governance and infrastructure development alongside investment opportunities and talent education.

Sheikh Hamdan announced that Dubai takes a leading role in shaping AI technology and works towards establishing itself as the top global standard for AI adoption. AI integration evaluation has been made mandatory to assess performance at all levels including public sector institutions and academic research bodies and private sector organizations, according to him.

The Dubai Assembly for AI at AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers will hold more than 50 sessions from April 21–25 through collective participation of 15 nations along with 25 tech companies, 60 startups, and 20 universities. The key conference sessions concentrate on teaching metaverse education alongside discussions about wearables and generative AI with agentic AI developments.

The Dubai AI Week schedule includes the Global Prompt Engineering Championship together with the Dubai AI Festival and the Machines Can See Summit as other significant events. Additional activities such as community programs and school initiatives together with industry-focused summits are included in the event lineup.

The emirate demonstrates its dedication to lead global AI advancements through Dubai AI Week which receives backing from Microsoft and Google Cloud as well as Meta and OpenAI.
