The World Future Energy Summit will take place again next year in Abu Dhabi from January 14 to 16, 2025, as part of ADSW. Organised with the support of Masdar, this event will pull together international CEOs and executives in energy and sustainability to discuss major topics including the Middle East as an energy powerhouse and the energy industry as empowered by Artificial Intelligence, in addition to sustainable development.
The summit will look at carry on learning from the experience of the last event in 2024 and this will be based on how the Middle East is leading in investments in clean energy. The region plans to spend nearly $75.63bn in renewable power by 2030, and the UAE intends to raise the clean energy-apportioned capacity from 27.83% to 32% in the same year. These strategies are backed by important actions such as solar parks, the waste to energy projects and others.
AI will also have a specific focus in executives’ consideration of its application to energy utilization, demand prediction, and the overall efficiency in energy generation. More than 400 global companies will participate in the event along with 350 industry speakers in areas like sustainable cities, green finance, and hydrogen, market’s preparedness.
Thus, being a platform for innovation and cooperation, the summit has highly objectives in strengthening the future of the energy sector with referencing UAE governmental efforts to the worldwide sustainable development.
