Emirates, Dubai-based airline, has entered into a preliminary deal with Crypto.com to launch the payment option of cryptocurrency to the customers. The agreement, announced by Emirates Group in July 9, 2025, is one of the first that paved the way of the mass adoption of digital currency in the travel industry. The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai (RTA) have recently revealed a significant enlargement plan of Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall metro station, which should be capable of containing up to 220,000 passengers every day.
