Abdullah bin Zayed Congratulates New UK Foreign Secretary, Discusses Bilateral Relations

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation sent his congratulation to David Lammy for his promotion into the position of Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom.

Specifically, in his message, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his hope that Lammy would succeed in his new position also emphasizing the friendly relations between the UAE and the UK which have historical roots. Finally, he stressed this point by saying that further encouragement of these bilateral relations should remain a priority and cooperation should be maintained.

Sheikh Abdullah extended his desire on working with Secretary Lammy on improving and advancing the relations and partnership between the two nations. He emphasised on the gains both countries will derive and the people will be benefiting from in case such cooperation will be realised.
