Talabat acquired the entire InstaShop business from Delivery Hero SE through a $32 million purchase for greater grocery and retail service operation in the MENA region. The purchase of this deal through Talabat internal cash reserves finished on February 25 2025.
Talabat keeps InstaShop as an autonomous entity within its grocery and retail verticals after the acquisition. Through the partnership both platforms can improve technology integration and create logistical synergies for their delivery fleets and seize business prospects for their partner companies. Talabat and InstaShop team up to optimize delivery service and improve user experience and build new business connections throughout UAE and Egyptian marketplaces.
CEO Nikola Cabarkapa of InstaShop demonstrated satisfaction with the partnership which will boost delivery service standards and allow the company to fulfill its mission of outstanding customer convenience.
