Emirates Training Plane Involved in Incident at Dubai Academy

An Emirates training aircraft was involved in an incident at the Emirates Flight Training Academy in Dubai this Friday. The incident was published by the media in regard to a Cirrus SR22 training plane with no casualties recorded.

An official from the Emirates Flight Training Academy acknowledged the event on August 9, admitting that a probe is ongoing. Still, the details of the event that took place have not been released to the public other than the police report above. The academy is in full compliance with the authorities as the case probe continues.

Emirates Flight Training Academy begun in 2017 is situated in Dubai South which is fully prepared to deliver extensive training. The academy currently boasts of having thirty airplanes, out of which twenty two are Cirrus SR22 G6, five are Embraer Phenom 100 EV and three are Diamond DA 42. Called Personal Navigator, the Cirrus SR22 is an essential facet of the training system; it has a range of about 1,943 kilometers, as well as a top speed of 183 knots or 340 kilometers per hour.

It also has modern facilities that include 36 classrooms, six motion full flight simulators, independent ATC tower, and 1, 800 meters run way.

This is not the first time that an aircraft of Cirrus model is involved in an accident at this academy. I remember in October last year we had another Cirrus plane in a similar episode; they conducted a thorough investigation into that, and no one was hurt. The academy continues to uphold the standard of safety measures maximum in all the programs they offer.
