Drake Sets New Record with 100 Billion Spotify Streams

Drake, the Canadian artist, has set a record which can be only described as a record to beat, as the musician became the first one in the world who gained more than one hundred billion streams on Spotify. The incredible achievement was revealed by Chart Data through X on Tuesday night, that revealed the greatness of Drake in the streaming platforms.

Drake has many different songs that are divided in albums and singles, and they all have 234,198,462 total streams per song and 5,401,548,609 total streams for each album. Although by now many of his songs have been streamed multiple times on the platform, his most popular song on Spotify remains the 2016 hit “One Dance”, that features Nigerian Afrobeats musician Wizkid and British singer Kyla, with 3. 2 billion streams. ”One Dance” also broke the Guinness World Record set on 27 July 2016 for being the first song to reach over 1 billion streams on Spotify.

It is even more impressive with the number of streams more than double the other individual, which basically shows Eminem, Drake’s dominance remains unshakeable in the music platform.
