On February 5, the exhibition “Echoes in Colors”, showcasing the works of Ukrainian artists, officially opened in Abu Dhabi, marking another significant cultural moment within the Month of Ukraine in the UAE initiative.
Presented by N2N Gallery in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine, the exhibition was first introduced in Dubai, where it received widespread acclaim for its powerful artistic narrative and emotional depth. Following its success, the exhibition has now moved to the UAE capital, where it continues to resonate with audiences and art enthusiasts alike.

“Echoes in Colors” is part of a large-scale programme that brings together cultural, educational, humanitarian, and business events, aiming to highlight Ukraine’s resilience, identity, and living cultural voice. Through contemporary artistic expression, the exhibition creates a meaningful space for dialogue and connection between Ukraine and the UAE, while celebrating creativity amid challenging times.
The exhibition features works by Ukrainian artists living in the UAE, including Victoria Sosonka, Olena Stashok, Iryna Barsuk, Ellina Zhyzhyna, Yana Rusnak, Maryna Futymska, Olena Mishchenko, Kateryna Plyva, Tetyana Udovika, Kateryna Makarova, and others. Each artist brings a distinct perspective, reflecting personal memory, national heritage, and emotional storytelling through diverse artistic styles and techniques.
One of the standout works is Victoria Sosonka’s “Inner Dawn”, a piece embraced by themes of peace and harmony—qualities deeply missed in today’s turbulent world. The artwork invites viewers to imagine themselves at dawn, alone with the world, immersed in calming colors and quiet reflection.
Ellina Zhyzhyna’s “The Mirror Stream” has drawn particular attention from visitors. The artwork features a fragment of her hometown, Kharkiv, prompting many attendees to pause and connect with the piece after recognizing familiar scenes from their own memories of the city.
Through Iryna Barsuk’s portrait of Ulyana Kravchenko, Ukraine’s first feminist, the exhibition invites audiences to rediscover the critical role Ukrainian women have played in shaping the nation’s cultural and historical legacy.
Another highlight is Olena Stashok’s “Ukraine in Bloom”, which captivated viewers with its unusual paper-twisting quilling technique. The artwork depicts the outline of the map of Ukraine, filled with symbolic national flowers such as sunflowers, daisies, and wheat ears. Rendered in blue and yellow hues, the piece echoes the colors of the Ukrainian flag, blending craftsmanship with national symbolism.
The organizers warmly invite residents and visitors to experience the exhibition, which will remain open until February 15, 2026, at N2N Gallery, 9 Etihad Tower 3, Abu Dhabi. “Echoes in Colors” stands as a testament to the enduring power of art to preserve identity, foster understanding, and build cultural bridges across borders.
