Coldplay Fans Flock to Abu Dhabi After Failing to Secure India Tickets

Currently, word is out on Coldplay concerts in Abu Dhabi, next year and this has left many fans on the precipice of looking for tickets to attend these glamorous events. First announced to be a one show event on January 11, 2025, Coldplay’s concert was fully booked way ahead of schedule. This huge demand compelled the singer to add three other new dates, that is, 12th, 13th, and 14th of January, which makes fans in UAE and across the world excited.

Especially the fans of India are now looking to travel to Abu Dhabi since they could get hold of stand tickets to Coldpaly performances in India. Many who could not afford the tickets due to high demand or resale prices as high as 300000Rupees are forced to watch concerts in Abu Dhabi.

One of them was Arjun Laksh, 35 year old IT employee from Bangalore who did not go on his family vacation to UAE in December and postponed it to January to attend this concert. Finally, after ten years of being a fan, Laksh echoed his sentiment, he said excitedly, “I have been to other concerts but can’t wait to attend Coldplay live.”

Likewise, Siddharth Kamath and his wife Sakshi tasted non-stop two hours to log on” the tickets. While the Coldplay was in India in 2016, the couple could not attend the concert but now they are getting ready for the first live concert in Abu Dhabi. Having tickets Sathish said, “We were on top of the world especially after we didn’t get tickets for the India concerts.

Some other fans like Shraddha Patil waited in virtual queues and they said that it would have been cheaper for them to travel to UAE than pay for the tickets at reselling prices in India. It is also an interesting place for many people and many use arriving to the Coldplay concert as an excuse to visit the UAE. “We’re all excited,” Shraddha said for herself after getting tickets for a group of friends.

That the fanbase ranges from India and other parts of the world coming into UAE, Coldplay’s January shows will be an international affair of music and tourism.
