UAE Flag Garden Returns to Umm Suqeim Beach for National Celebrations

The UAE Flag Garden show has now resumed at the Umm Suqeim Beach, TX featuring over thousands of flags along with the view of the Burj Al Arab. It is on the occasion of UAE Flag Day and with the intention to pay tribute to the Founding Fathers of the UAE: His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum that the flag garden, initiated by Brand Dubai for its 11th year this year, is being held.

As of October 31, and till January 10, 2025, the garden is ready to become an interactive show for citizens, residents, and tourists; it became vital as it serves as a background in various social media posts. The British social media savvy tourists are thus urged to promote their posts using the hashtag #ZayedAndRashid and #UAEFlagGarden. In the garden last year, there were more than 6,000 flags, however, the exact number this year has not been disclosed.

The United Arab Emirates Flag Day, celebrated on 3rd November, celebrates the President of UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of the presidency in 2004. In response to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s call, ministries and institutions have been urged to hoist the UAE flag on Friday, November 1, at 11 a.m., in preparation for Flag Day.

The UAE Flag Garden is an outdoor installation, and a visit to the art installation is completely free, keying into the general mood of the nation while overlooking the scenic coastline of Dubai.
