Love is Blind: Dubai Set to Premiere on Netflix in October

Fans of reality TV are in for a treat as Love is Blind: That’s right folks; Dubai is set to go on Netflix from October 1 st this year. The Dubai based programme called ‘Love is Blind Habibi’ will provide a Middle-Eastern spin to the show, where young single Arabs in Dubai and the UAE will be looking for love in an unusual way.

The format will follow the familiar premise: Males date females from behind the walls as they socialize to understand each other without seeing each other’s physique. In more than two weeks, participants choose if there is chemistry for a proposal—without any visual interface. They only see each other face to face after proposing for a marriage and further travel to check if love can actually work out between them or not in the course of every day life.

Elham Ali And Khaled Saqr will host UAE edition and explores the topic most commonly associated with love, culture and relationships in the region where both traditional and liberal thoughts are seen. Like the previous international versions, including those in Brazil, Japan, and the UK, Love is Blind: Dubai wants to put to the test the theory that love conquers all in relation to the physical attraction.

If one wishes to be cast into the future seasons, the hiring process takes place on social media and in reality, which makes it a rather unusual chance for those bored with normal dating.

Being the first Middle Eastern edition, Love is Blind Habibi will most definitely rally discussions, especially since it shines the light on Dubai’s effervescent and trendy dating scene. What is there on the other side of the love that has been painted as ‘blind’? Is divorce, as evidenced in Dubai, part of it? Well, to learn about that viewers will have to watch the show!
