Netflix Collaborates with Raj & DK for Epic Action-Fantasy Series ‘Rakt Bramhand’

Netflix India has revealed its first action-fantasy series with Raj & DK partners for their show which is titled ‘Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom. ’ The conglomerate was actually pretty successful with its show ‘Guns & Gulaabs. ’

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, together dubbed Raj & DK, will write and direct this feature film with Rahi Anil Barve as the director and Sita R. Menon as the writer under D2R Films production. This series will boast dramatic action, enhanced by the state of the art visualization of an imaginative kingdom. Shooting is to start soon.

Raj & DK are invasion kings in Indian entertainment space now who had a benchmark for original films like ‘99’, ‘Shor in the City’, ‘Go Goa Gone’. These duo has also worked extensively in streaming medium with popular shows such as ‘The Family Man’, ‘Farzi’ aired on ‘Prime Video’. In 2022 Raj & DK signed an extended creative deal with Netflix.

For the undertakings of the project, director Rahi Anil Barve is selected who has previously directed the feature ‘Tumbbad’. Critical response to “Tumbbad” was positive due to its uniqueness in terms of visuals and narration; among others, the film was the part of Venice Critics’ Week and Fantastic Fest, Busan, and BFI London Film Festivals.

Raj & DK are well assisted by Sita R. Menon who has been their long time writer for most of their projects under D2R Films “Farzi” being one of them and thus guaranteeding a complex “Rakt Bramhand. “
