Emirates’ Newly Retrofitted 777 Debuts on Geneva Route

Emirates has decided to modernise it first B 777 with a completely overhauled cabin and the aircraft is forming flight EK 83 to Geneva this afternoon. The aircraft was strip searched and rebuilt in 37 days and the firm managed to get it into the service four days ahead of schedule.

Emirates made a timelapse video of the 777 cabins’ makeover specialty done by the airway’s dedicated aviation engineering staff. It showcases aspects such as the technical and thorough process of surgery, the precise installation of planes’ sections, and even the redesigned interiors.

Emirates Airline President, Sir Tim Clark said, “We strive to consistently deliver the promise of the Emirates product to our customers and with this new Boeing 777 featuring new signature interiors, the bar is raised for premium flying. Our latest business class cabin is exclusive and private while our best in class suite of products also come in our brand new Premium Economy product which customers rated as one of the best I this industry Again, more of our Boeing

The teardown and refurbishment of the first Boeing 777 was done in 37 days with 18000 man hours and with the work done in shifts. The activities that was conducted were done in a sequential manner where the first activity was the stripping of the interiors up to the point where new seating and other cabin accessories were installed and then followed by a check and confirm where the new interiors’ functionality was tested out. The latest version of this aircraft has improved interior decoration of the latest Emirates style with comfortable business class and even more private premium economy.
