Pearl of gulf Dubai’s burj khalifa, the tallest building in the world today , is complete fifteen years this coming weekend. The building was officially launched on January 4, 2010; the building has become a symbol of the modern world today; it has 828 meters in height.
Although no formal celebrations have been announced, visitors can still enjoy the building’s stunning light and laser shows, which are running nightly at 8:at 30 pm, 9:15 pm, and 10:15 pm up until and including march 31, 2025. These shows with light, patterned images are the continuation of the New Year’s Eve show for which people stayed outdoors for up to 15 hours to watch an impressive spectacle.
On this significant occasion, Burj Khalifa has also received a new sophisticated RGBW façade lighting system. This new technology replaces the previously installed lights by multicolor ones that make for more sophisticated changes. People can watch the more brilliant light displays from different angle; for instance, outside the Dubai Mall’s boulevard that also provides a view of Dubai’s fountain.
Construction of Burj Khalifa started on January 6, 2004, and was eventually done and the building was launched in 2010. The structure was designed by Emaar properties and features concrete steel and glass as resources from which to create this marvel that still pulls in millions of tourists every year.
On the occasion of the Burj Khalifa’s 15th anniversary, it still represents the city’s aspiration and branded character and demonstrates its uniqueness and global prominence. But now, it is the right moment to visit it, to put up in one of the hotels surrounding it and walk up to the castle – to feel the fairy tale.
