Forget everything you've heard about summer being the quiet season.
July 2026 is delivering one of the busiest entertainment calendars the UAE has seen this year. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are packed with headline concerts, international DJs, tribute productions, Arabic music stars, and another blockbuster UFC Fight Night.
Whether you're planning weekends with friends or looking for your next night out, these are the biggest events worth adding to your calendar.
Michael Jackson, Beat the Heat and Queen Lead the Concert Calendar
One of the month's biggest productions arrives on July 18, when Michael Lives Forever takes over Coca-Cola Arena.
Fronted by internationally acclaimed performer Rodrigo Teaser, the tribute production features original Michael Jackson collaborators, including choreographer Lavelle Smith Jr. and legendary guitarist Jennifer Batten, bringing classics such as Billie Jean, Beat It and Thriller back to the stage.
That same evening, music fans have another major option as Beat the Heat DXB Season 5 returns to Coca-Cola Arena with Dystinct and Issam Najjar.
A week earlier, on July 11, Beat the Heat DXB also welcomes Egyptian rock band Cairokee at Dubai World Trade Centre.
For something more intimate, Candlelight: Tribute to Queen transforms Al Majlis Ballroom at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam into a candlelit concert venue on July 11, where a live string trio performs Queen's biggest hits.
Arabic Music Fans Have Plenty to Choose From
July also brings major performances from some of the region's biggest names.
Ramy Sabry joins Bahaa Sultan at Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on July 4, before returning for a solo concert at the same venue on July 5.
The back-to-back performances make Abu Dhabi one of the month's strongest destinations for Arabic live music.
DJs and Nightlife Keep the Energy Going
Abu Dhabi's nightlife calendar stays busy throughout July.
White Abu Dhabi at Yas Bay hosts SAGA featuring Bedouin on July 3, followed by internationally renowned electronic producer Ben Böhmer on July 11.
Dubai also gets a major nightlife moment when Offset performs at Blu Dubai inside V Hotel Al Habtoor City on July 3.
Meanwhile, Bazaar at Meydan Racecourse Grandstand hosts Please Leave By 10: Prom Edition on July 4, offering a nostalgic prom-inspired party experience.
UFC Returns to Abu Dhabi
The biggest sporting event of the month arrives on July 25.
UFC Fight Night returns to Etihad Arena on Yas Island, headlined by UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev against Khalil Rountree Jr.
The co-main event features Umar Nurmagomedov facing David Martinez, adding another high-profile bout to the card.
The event marks Abu Dhabi's 22nd UFC event since 2010, continuing one of the longest-running partnerships between the promotion and any international destination.
