Emirates Named ‘Best Airline in the World’ at 2024 ULTRAs Awards

In the recent ULTRAs 2024 Awards, the Dubai-based airline, Emirates, was named the “Best Airline in the World”. On an online global poll, Emirates was selected by over 12,000 luxury, international and frequent travelers to beat 91 other airlines and clinch the event’s grand title in London. The innovation in service and quality products and tendencies of offering value-added services meanings of passengers increased the airline’s reputation among thousands of passengers of the whole world.

 

Various awards achieved by Emirates in the current financial year over 20 aviation awards, wins for inflight entertainment and Premium Economy Class. The organisers also awarded Emirates the runner-up position in two out of the four categories: Best First Class was won by Singapore while the Best Premium Economy Class was won by Virgin Atlantic with Emirates coming second.

 

Emirates Airline President, Sir Tim Clark said he was proud to receive the recognition noting that the achievement was made by the Emirates team. “It is even more so since we have received this prestigious ‘Best Airline in the World’ title from the ULTRAs,” he added. “These investments in products and services as well as in people and technology are all fundamentally targeted to provide a step change in the flight experience of our customers: ‘to fly better.’”

 

However, there is an ongoing evolution of services, and the Gulf carrier also has a multi-billion-dollar refurbishment plan to revamp more than 200 aircraft cabins. The airports that also featured high on the rating list include Dubai International Airport which represented the second-best Airport in the entire world in the ‘Best Airport in the World’ category.

 

Emirates renews its commitment to excellence and strengthens its position among the world’s best and most popular airlines for international travel.
