Ryan Serhant on Dubai’s Real Estate Boom, Netflix Fame, and Building a Global Brand

Ryan Serhant , a celebrity real estate broker from Reality’s Million Dollar Listing New York and Owning Manhattan last week spoke to Arabian Business about Dubai’s real estate boom and his career path. In his speech during the Game Changers held at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, Serhant expressed his admiration of the city’s vision and the multitude of interesting and unheard-of projects, including Palm Jebel Ali. “It is now in the top 10 global real estate investment locations,” Serhant pointed out, seeing that individuals from New York, Hong Kong, and London now mov…

One noted Serhant, a luxury real estate viewer of a AED 130 million luxurious villa` and was specifically marveled by the elaborate work he saw. “The luxury, finish and scale here are unparalleled anywhere else in the world,” he said adding that UHNWR clientele has a lot of aspirational potential in Dubai’s real estate. Serhant feels that because the city is ever growing, it is the best place for international investors to invest hence providing the best liquidity and growth. While Dubai is growing, though, sustainability becomes an issue. Construction here is not just like other construction places shelter and accommodation; it indeed requires sustainability. Dubai is the most flexible city in this aspect, and I do not doubt they will solve these problems faster than anyone else does, Serhant further starred on the uniqueness of the climate and the rate of development.

Coming to Netflix made Serhant receive enormous international popularity; the Owning Manhattan series developed his brand worldwide. He has appeared in the media where he has been able to popularize his business of real estate thereby market himself to the world. About the list, they advise that instead of targeting consumers directly especially homeowners as those highlighted above indicate, the Dubai real estate agents should strive to develop working relationships with critical consumer touch point influencers such as lawyers and bank officials. Serhant while being enamored with Dubai’s potential is a true New Yorker who underscores that each city has its charm. “Dubai is an opportunity,” he summed up, and as the “real estate engine,” he is willing to be the part of success.
