His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence has recently toured some of the facilities at the Summer Sports Abu Dhabi 2024. The exhibition is hosted by the ADNEC Group while in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and will take place until the 23rd of August, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Having covered an expansive 34,000 meters square an impressive array of group sports and other group activities meant for boosting the socialization as well as the exercising of the body are exhibited during the annual event. When the guest of honor arrived, His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, the General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, explained the event.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024 is For all – that is the message, where sport is being sold as a basic component in the life of every citizen for enhancing the quality of life within the society. His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan further applauded the level of orderliness of the event as well as the authorities efforts in ensuring that all the participants got a great time saying that such kind of event represents the spirit of tolerance and human brotherhood.
Currently on its third edition, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports added novelties this year in the form of cricket, tennis, and an obstacle course joining in the previous options including football, padel, a running track of one kilometer, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and a fitness section.
