Sheikh Mansoor Attends 12th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as Chairman of Dubai Sports Council commended the 12th edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament during his attendance at the event. Through the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum the event developed into a globally esteemed sporting competition in UAE which draws first-class athletes internationally.

A Platform for Excellence
Local athletes develop better skills through the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament because it provides them with international competitive opportunities. Sheikh Mansoor praised the tournament since it enables the promotion of multiple sports alongside encouraging people from the community to join in.

Sheikh Mansoor spent his time at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex to watch thrilling padel and volleyball competitions before moving on to monitor the cycling events at Meydan. Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum alongside Chairman of the UAE Padel Association joined Sheikh Mansoor as he visited the Dubai Sports Council together with other essential members of the council.

Diverse Participation and Growing Popularity
Sheikh Mansoor spoken about the tournament’s ability to expand sports participation throughout the entire population since it welcomes more than 8000 amateur and professional athletes annually. Sheikh Mansoor commended the intense athletic competition especially because the UAE national padel team ranked first in Asia played against other international squads.

Team players representing Italy Russia and Belarus take part in the volleyball tournament thus creating enhanced prestige for the event. At the tournament Sheikh Mansoor spent time with committed athletes to confirm how it extends opportunities for every athlete to access premium athletic competitions.
