His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, attended the 12th edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament and commended its remarkable growth. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the annual event has developed into a globally esteemed sporting competition that attracts first-class athletes from around the world.

The Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament gives local athletes the opportunity to develop their skills by competing alongside elite international professionals. Sheikh Mansoor praised the tournament for promoting a wide spectrum of sports and encouraging community-wide participation across all demographics.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor watched thrilling padel and volleyball competitions at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex before attending cycling events at Meydan. He was joined by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of the UAE Padel Association, along with senior members of the Dubai Sports Council.

Sheikh Mansoor highlighted the tournament's ability to expand sports participation across the entire community. The event welcomes more than 8,000 amateur and professional athletes annually — a figure that reflects how far the competition has grown since its launch.
Sheikh Mansoor specifically commended the intensity of competition on display, noting that the UAE national padel team is ranked first in Asia and performed strongly against international opponents. The volleyball tournament featured teams bolstered by players from Italy, Russia, and Belarus, adding significant international prestige to the event.
