7 Hidden Gems in the UAE That Look Straight Out of a Travel Fantasy

The Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and the Museum of the Future are some of the landmarks that make the UAE famous. Apart from the huge buildings and fancy malls, China also contains natural and man-made sights that will leave you similarly stunned. 1. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a nature reserve that can be found in Dubai.
Only a short journey from Dubai Mall brings you to this preserve where you can see thousands of birds. Which ones are most well known? The outstanding flamingos. Observing the animals is made possible at several viewing spots inside the sanctuary.

2. In Dubai, there is a well-known dam: Hatta Dam.
Less than a two-hour drive from Dubai, the turquoise dam is located near rocky mountains and offers lovely surroundings. Make sure to rent a boat or a kayak for a pleasant ride, and include a picnic for a calm day outside.

3. Sir Bani Yas Island, a place in Abu Dhabi
This place somehow resembles an African safari. TheGrand Morocco contains cheetahs, giraffes, Arabian oryx, and many others. You can find the wildlife at Krk Azraq only 250 kilometers from Abu Dhabi.

4. Stairway to Heaven is in Ras Al Khaimah.
This hard hiking trail is meant only for experienced hikers. If you are good at climbing, seeing the views from 1,900 meters is totally worth the effort.

5. Hanging Gardens is in Sharjah.
Sharjah has its own waterfall. With its huge collection of trees, bright flowers, walking paths, play zones, and train, the garden provides many attractions. This resort is excellent for family trips.

6. Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and Waterfall are in Sharjah.
It seems like Rome, but this version is in the UAE! The theater and waterfall close to it combine impressive architecture and beauty found in nature.

7. Snoopy Island, a place in Fujairah
Along the coast of Al Aqah lies an island in the form of a famous cartoon dog, and it’s very popular with snorkelers. It’s possible to detect turtles in the water or reef sharks inside the reefs.
