Explore Abu Dhabi’s Rich Heritage with Guided Cultural Tours

Therefore, if you are interested in indulging in the historical, modern and artistic view of Abu Dhabi, the guided tours are a perfect way to discover Emirate’s landmarks or such mot special Museums like. It is a valuable experience for joining these tours as regardless of whether you have lived in the UAE for years or having just arrived, these tours give more information about the history and culture of this country.

For those that are transport by car or inter-emirate public buses, there is a free shuttle bus within Abu Dhabi to enable you move around within the city.

Cultural Sites to Explore:

Al Ain Oasis: The Al Fahidi Fort area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that gives the visitors a traditional Emirati expedition in 50 minutes. There are no policies for pets and smoking is not allowed, and choice of meals would be traditional Emirati.

Qasr Al Muwaiji: This tour is one hour and the location is a historical site where the late sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan use to reside. The space is accessible to those in wheel chairs but people with food, pets and strollers are not allowed.

House of Artisans: This experience is a 20-minute tour based in Qasr Al Hosn where guests get an insight of the Emirati culture through art, craft workshops and courses. Stakeholders are not allowed to cancel their bookings once they have made the bookings.

Qasr Al Hosn: The oldest structure of this kind in Abu Dhabi, the ninety-minute walk costs Dh30 for adults. Ed-Dur or the ‘House of Dates’ has the capability of becoming a significant tourist destination as it contains the first permanent structure in the entire city, watchtower and a wealth of information regarding the history of the emirate.

Al Jahili Fort: During the forty-five minutes of the visit people can see exhibitions and a library. The site has no allowing of pets and baby strollers in exhibitions.

Important Notes:
Don’t be late; guides are likely to leave for those who do not show up 15 minutes after the appointed time.
Some of them, especially the Bait Al Gahwa may be viewed only during a second visit if they are not in line with tour timings.
