Guys, let’s find an adrenaline rush and invite those who have not been active for a long time. The Ice Warrior Challenge is back this September at Ski Dubai, yes it is that time again for those who dare, to put yourself to the limit. Ski Dubai which is in Mall of the Emirates will be hosting this year’s event on Sunday 22nd, September 2024, with registration closing on 19th September 2024.
Challenge Overview: The players will have an opportunity to go through 20-22 difficult tasks on the 3. 5 km long track and all this in -4 C temperature. That is why people participating in challenges will have to stretch their arms to reach and climb the walls with their legs, slide down the nets, run on the ice, roll and crawl through the tubes, swim and plunged into the chilly water. Hindrances include a maze, rope climbs, wheel jumping, pole climbing among others which are very challenging to the physical strength of the participants.
Who Can Join? This frosty adventure targets people between the age of 15 and 60 years. The challenge is divided into three categories:The challenge is divided into three categories:
Elite Category (Dhs262. 50): Originally designed with only men and women who were capable of finishing in not more than 25 minutes into the minds.
Individual Category (Dhs220. 50): Caution – the distance is slightly longer but the program can be adapted to all levels of fitness.
Team Category (Dhs194. 25 per person): Students work in 5s to complete the game.
Race starts at 6:30am and every participant will be assigned with a timing chip as well as a race number. To encourage the finishers, there will be medals and Snow Challenge t-shirts to be given to them as they complete the tour.
