Dubai launched Therme Dubai as a 545 million dollar (AED 2 billion) well-being resort which will serve as the globe’s highest installation in its class. Zabeel Park serves as the location for the resort which will draw 1.7 million visitors each year after its 2028 opening.

The new project supports the goals of Dubai’s Quality of Life Strategy 2033 that launched in May 2024 to turn the city into the world’s leading place to reside. During the announcement Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum explained that the project upholds Dubai’s dedication to biodiversity in cities and sustainability for both the environment and community health.
