Emirates Launches First Travel Store in Hong Kong, Expanding Presence in East Asia

Recently, Emirates has launched the first Travel Store for East Asia in specifically in Hong Kong. This new store is designed as the first phase of a retail plan that is to expand all over the Far East region and across the airline chain.

The Travel Store was formally launched by Orhan Abbas, Emerates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations – Far East. Indeed the ceremony that was done at the setting of Nexxus Building was presided by Shaikh Saoud Al Mualla UAE Consul General, Sultan Alriyami the Emirates Area Manager Hong Kong, media and trade personalities.

The international launch of the concept store ‘The Hong Kong Travel Store’ for example assures Emirates’ continuous focus on improving the global travel retail propositions by bringing personal services, its distinctive products and its signature hospitality closer to its clientele. It offers services such as flight bookings, ticketing, and quality personal assistance to the clients in the store.

Orhan Abbas added his sentiments by saying: “We are very excited to officially launch the first Emirates Travel Store in the Far East in Hong Kong to provide better and superior services to our esteemed clients. The city has always been vital to us. Our first travel store in Central Hong Kong is our way of providing the esteemed customers with a superior travel retail shopping experience and an embodiment of Emirates’ hospitality from point A to Z.

The outlet comprises an L-shaped 1500 square feet selling floor which has a lounge-like arrangement with modern furniture for the convenience of the customers and four customer care desks. Customers are easily able to book travel arrangements and are further assisted by professionals, travel consultants. Emirates photo booth enables customers to take photos standing against popular backgrounds, self check-in kiosks reduce the queue wait time. Display units touch screen show the latest in Emirates products and services.

Customers get a limited-time opportunity to see the Premium Economy Class seats while the sought-after cabin class is a perfect illustration of comfort. In addition, Emirates official products and travel accessories are displayed and sold at the store as a well-chosen carefully.
